Hey guys! I am Misti and I can't even begin to tell you have thankful I am to have this opportunity to go and share the gospel across the nations. My life has been a pretty colorful one, but I know God has been diligently working to prepare my heart for this very time and this very moment. So let me take some time to tell you a little bit about myself.

First off, let me tell you about this child.

This picture sums up the sunshine in my days. This is my little brother. His name is Dayton, and he is 11. We are 11 years apart, but our bond is unexplainable. He came into my life at just the right time, and is a continual reminder of how much God loves me. He is probably the coolest kid I know, and I can't think of anyone I'd rather share my DNA with, or my days. To say he is one of my biggest blessings would be an understatement. He has taught me how to love without limits, and how to let others love me as well.

-How I got here.

I am 22 years old, and from the suburbs of Atlanta. I am studying Legal Studies and Brenau University and hoping to Graduate sometime this summer. If you are reading this blog and you know me, you know my heartbeat is for the nations. I went to Amsterdam in 2010/2011, and to Nicaragua in the summer of 2011. I left a little bit of my heart in both of these countries and knew that God was calling me into missions somehow. After I came back from Amsterdam, I knew that God was pulling on my heartstrings for inner-city ministry. So, I starting working for an organization in the inner-city of Atlanta. This organization opened up my heart for children and all that they go through. My days in the city really taught me to live with eyes wide open, and I saw Jesus in the streets of Atlanta like never before. The children I worked with taught me more about grace, love, acceptance and the heart our Father has for His children than I can ever express in one blog and I am forever thankful for that experience.

Well my time with this organization came to a close, and it was time for me to start getting serious about school. I knew I needed to finish my degree, but my heart was still in the streets of Atlanta and on foreign soil. So I have been praying for a long time now that God would give me an opportunity to do foreign missions again, if it was His will. Then the world race fell into my lap after much research and prayer. I prayed about it continuously and just felt God beckoning my heart back to it over and over again. So I applied, got accepted, and prayed some more. God was still beckoning my heart- but even stronger than before. So here I am, surrendering to His will.
