I’m Going Back to Tanzania!
Ask anyone who was with me month 6th in Tanzania if they would go back to Sumbawanga, Tanzania, and you would get a “HELL NO” from them.
Ask me, and I would tell you that it was my FAVORITE month! I came ALIVE in Tanzania! I can’t even tell you why… But I can tell you that I left a big piece of my heart there. My heart broke the day I had to say goodbye to Alias, Tony, Derick, Joseph, Isaiah, and many more. I fed them, clothed them, and loved them. It was so hard leaving them because who was going to do that after I left???
Kids in Tanzania are neglected and left to defend for themselves.
You see kids wearing clothing that looks like they have been worn every day for five years.
You see kids with dry boogers all over their faces.
You see five-year-olds carrying babies on their backs.
Here are pictures of the Sumbawanga.
You see and feel the darkness from the oppression of the witchcraft.
The city I want to go back to is named Sumbawanga, which means witchcraft.
The vision the Lord gave me in Malaysia was to do prayer walks through Sumbawanga and to pray for the darkness to leave and to pray for a new name. A name that speaks life and gives life. A name that chases out the darkness. A name that will change the city and the people in it forever.
My second vision is for the children. It’s a vision for the CHURCH in Tanzania to see them as the future generation of the church and to empower them to become men and women of God who will bring change to their city and to their country.
My goal is to get a team together and to go back for two weeks at Christmas. The team will be full of prayer warriors and intercessors to pray for everything listed above and more! God has been stirring my heart for this, and I’m so excited for what is about to come for the City of Sumbawanga! God is moving and I am willing!
I don’t know the details. I don’t know anything. But God does and I’m just trusting Him.
You can help by:
1) praying for a team of 7 or more to come with me.
2) joining my prayer team. This is exciting and scary at the same time.
Please follow whatever you feel the Lord is doing in your heart. I’m excited to see what God is about to do!
