Still not sure what The World Race is about? It can be hard to explain. In short, it is an 11 month long mission trip to 11 different countries where we will be meeting the peoples needs and telling them about the Good News of Jesus.

From another racer:
     We serve.
     We explore.
     We pray.
     We take risks.
     We love the unlovable.
     We get dirty.
     We grow.
     We change.

The team at Adventures in Missions put together an epic video to help you be a part of what I’m going to be experiencing. It’s not long, so please take three minutes to watch it here. Then check out the comments on YouTube to see what the Race means to a lot of other people. Click the link below (you may have to scroll down) to watch the video.

Ok, so, now that you watched the video I hope you have a better understanding of what I will be facing during my time on The World Race.

If there’s one thing you could do to help me spread the word right now, it would be to share this video on Facebook. Simply by sharing, you’ll be helping more people get out and join what God is doing around the world.

Also, I know I posted about this last week but I have a financial deadline quickly approaching and I am still a long ways off from meeting that deadline.

Consequences of not meeting the deadline: not being able to leave and go on this route that I am signed up for in September. Would have to defer to a route that is either leaving in Jan. 2015 or July 2015.

Won’t you considering giving a donation? $10? $20? $50? $100? Any donation is greatly appreciated and no donation is too small. You can even sign up to be a monthly supporter if you feel led to do so. There is a link on the left-hand column on this blog page that you can click titled Support Me! Instructions are on the page once you click there.

Thanks for joining me on the Race! Keep Lookin’ Up, Misha
