Hi friends!
I was asked a few weeks ago to lead a Crew Prayer meeting on Wednesday, June 18, 2014. My initial thought was to do so by praying the Word of God. So, I recalled that I did this several years ago at my home church, New Life Christian Center, and we had a packet that we could use as a guideline if wanted. Well, I got a hold of my pastor and he sent it over to me. Below are some of the verses from that packet.
I decided to write about some standing on the promises of God this week! Please take a few minutes to really ponder them and listen to what God may be speaking to you.
Job 22:27 says “You will make your prayer to Him, He will hear you…”
John 14:14 says “If you ask anything in my name, I will do it.”
John 15:7 says “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.”
John 16:23 says “whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.”
John 16:24 says “Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.”
1 John 5:14-15 says “14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.”
Now that you have been nourished with some godly food, what do you want to take to the Lord in prayer? Below is a prayer that I am praying for the Lord to provide for me financially for The World Race.
Dear Father, Please provide the funds needed for me to participate in The World Race. You said in your Word in John 14:14 that if I ask anything in your name that you will do it, so I am believing in that right now. I know that you are more than able to do that for me, but more importantly for you to get the glory and honor for providing for me. I know that I can not raise $17,000 on my own but only you can do that. Please give me the faith and patience to trust in you to do this for me. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
Now, I wrote about this because I am approaching a deadline goal in just under 3 weeks, July 5, 2014. I am suppose to have raised $3,500 + by this point. In case you are just reading this for the first time, I have to raise $16,254 in total and would love to have it all raised before I leave that way I can fully concentrate on serving out in the field. Won’t you put your faith into action and donate to Adventures in Missions to help fund this trip? Any amount you can give is greatly appreciated, and know that no gift is too small or unnoticed. May the good Lord bless you as you bless me!
I will leave you with this quote that a friend shared with me recently: “There are those who go and those who stay and those who stay but help those who go.” Wouldn’t it be great if (insert your name) got to say that the Lord used me to help Misha go on the World Race to help change the world? Think/pray about it and be obedient to whatever the Lord may say. Be Blessed!
Keep Lookin’ Up!
Misha
