Sometimes life just smacks you right in the face and you cry for a while.
Sometimes the reality of leaving my family and friends really sucks.
Sometimes you want to throw your computer across the room because visa applications are stressful and you have been timed out 3 times already.
Sometimes fundraising is hard. Really hard.
Sometimes it’s difficult to trust God.

Then God reminds you that He’s got you.
He reminds you that you’re not alone.
He reminds you that computers are expensive and with visas, the 3rd time’s the charm.
He reminds you of all that he has provided so far.
He reminds you of his promises.

Deuteronomy 31:8
“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

Psalm 9:10 “Those who know your name trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you.”

In 30 days I’ll be on a plane to Georgia for World Race Launch, and despite all the hard stuff I am so beyond excited for this new adventure with the Lord.

“From the head to the heart
You take me on a journey
Of letting go
And getting lost in you”

Father, you are bigger than my fears, my my financial needs, and my bad days.
Thank you that you are the same yesterday, today and forever.
