Sorry I haven't been posting very much but I have been making 150 supports letters over the past few weeks to send out to my church family.

For those of you who I've missed here is what I wrote along with what I sent out.
I am writing to you to tell you some exciting news! I have been accepted to go on an 11 month long mission trip to 11 different countries in January of next year. It all started the beginning of this year when I saw a video of a church member, who went on a mission trip. While I was watching it, I felt God putting this passion into my heart to share His love and minister to others.
The Christian organization that I will be partnering with is called Adventures in Missions. I will be going on their program for college age adults, called the World Race. Although the program is inter-denominational, they have told me that I will be able to share the Sabbath and my beliefs with the people I meet.
The countries that I will be going to are Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, China, Thailand, Cambodia, India and Nepal.
While there I will be working in orphanages, ministering to women and children who are in human trafficking, preaching the Gospel and most importantly sharing the hope and love that comes with knowing Jesus. I will also be strengthening my faith and learning so much more about His plans for me through community and self-discovery.
I would love it if you, my church family, could join me prayerfully and financially. I need to raise $15,500 by July 2014. This cost covers all the travel, food, and lodging expenses for my trip. I know that this is a lot of money, especially with us trying to finish the church, but I also know that God will provide. Any amount you can give will help me tremendously and will be greatly appreciated! If everyone donates $10, I will have $1,500 to go towards my trip! Also, if there are 50 people who would like to donate $30 a month, for 11 months, I will be fully funded! The things I need the most are a 2 person freestanding tent, a sleeping bag, sleeping mat and an internal frame backpack.
