When I woke up that morning I had a feeling that the boys would do something for us girls but I never thought it would be so heartfelt. I crawled out of my tent and went to breakfast where the men told us to sit and wait to be served by them. They wouldn’t let us wash the dishes or get up to get seconds ourselves! They did everything for us! They then gave us a valentine and another in our lunches.

For dinner the squad leaders had us all get dressed up and go out on the soccer field to have our pictures taken. There we practiced a love song mash up along with a dance routine that we did for the men.

The guys then told us that dinner was ready but there were rules. We were supposed to relax and allow the men to serve us. We had no idea what to expect. Before we entered two of the men would hand us a red rose and then directed to where another man would escort us to our seat. The guys had our eating area decorated with streamers and candlelight.

Once seated we were served a three course meal all made from scratch (by head chef Jacob). After the meal Jayce and Matthew had set up a professional photo area where we could all get our picture taken. And after that we had a show filled with magic, worship and a dance routine by the guys. And a pink chicken!

At the end they handed our another valentine with a handwritten note from each of them.

The guys really out did themselves and I am so glad that this was my first Valentine’s day. God wanted to show me how men are supposed to treat women. He wanted me to know that there are Godly men out there and that all women are special to Him.

All I can say is that these men have set a high standard for the future husbands of the women of C squad.
