Although I haven’t processed it all yet, I know that some of you may be wondering what happened at camp.
This week was an awesome display of God’s power and the courage that He gives each one of us. Last Saturday was my first day flying and camping and the first time we got to meet our whole squad face to face! It was a big day of firsts and I wasn’t as nervous as I thought I was going to be.

Meeting everyone and putting faces and personalities to the Facebook pictures was challenging but luckily we were all wearing name tags. It took me awhile to start opening up to everyone and I wish that camp was a couple days longer so I could strengthen the connections that I started to make.
Everyday was a new meal from a different country. We were all thrown into community during meals and had to eat everything family style, with our fingers. It was amazing how we all overcame any squeamishness we may of had over sharing the same plate of food and how we all bonded during meals.
God also showed me that there are many things that I needed to forgive people of and work on. Over the next two months my goal is to allow God to heal these wounds, so I can arrive at launch ready to serve others and do His work.
He also healed many of the racers that were there. Some like me had emotional wounds that they needed Him to heal and others had physical needs that were healed. A girl on my squad was healed of her Scoliosis while at camp!
There were also a few mornings where our whole squad prayed over another member and God healed them of their migraines! He definitely showed me that He is still alive and that He wants to heal us and show us just how much He truly loves each one of us! It amazed me of how willing we all were to listen to Him and allow Him to work through us.
I also found out who is going to be on my team! I am on an all girls team. At first I was a little unsure about being with all girls, but God showed me that this is what I need and now I can’t wait to start ministering with these amazing women!
At the airport after training camp another racer asked me if my mom and I could give him a ride home. After dropping him and another racer off at their homes I realized that even though training camp is over God’s love and sharing it with others is never over.
I can’t wait until launch so I can meet everyone again and start sharing everything that God has done in our lives!
My account went up $1,000 while I was away at camp! That means I am only $2,400 away from meeting my December deadline! And you know what? I’m not worried at all! I know that God is going to provide every single cent that my squad and I need!
Thank you to everyone who donated while I was away and to those of you who made it so I could go to camp!
I will write more posts as I process everything that happened during the last week.
