Sometimes God puts people in our paths and shows up in ways we’ve never expected.
While put doing evangelism one day God decided Ro show us one of the ways he works.
The first few houses we went to that day had no one answering. Then we went to a boarding house and met a man named William.
He said that he had been asking God to work on his heart for 5 days and didn’t know what else he should do.
While talking with him about how much God loves him and that Jesus died for him so his past mistakes will not keep him away from that love, his new roommate comes in. His roommate is a Christian and didn’t know that William had been struggling.
William rededicated his life to Christ and we were able to pray for his relationship with God to strengthen. His friend also told him that he will help and they are both going to be going to church again.
The next place we went to was an apartment. There we met James who is a Seventh Day Adventist that fell away from the church. He too was wanting to start over with God and wanted to start going to church again.
At first he seemed a little reluctant to share what was going on in his heart. So I told him that I am also an Adventist and that God is rejoicing in his willingness to want to come back to Him. That seemed to ease any fears he had and he told us about how when he prays he has night terrors that same night.
We were able to pray for God to protect him and for the night terrors to go away. He wants to have weekly home bible studies with the church we are working with this month.
Please pray for these men and for God to continue to place the desire for them to know more about him.
