God has been so good! I can't keep all of His love to myself so I thought I would share some blessings He gave me this week.
My passport came the beginning of this week! This really surprised me because when I went to apply the postal clerk told me that my birth certificate was in the wrong format and that I would have to take more time off of work and go down to San Diego or Los Angeles to get the right form. I told him to attach it and just send it in anyway. I figured this way I would have at least some of it processed when they tell me to get the right birth certificate. Anyways a week passed and I didn't hear anything from the agency. I kept praying that if God doesn't want me to go then I will take not getting my passport as a sign. And you know what happened? On Monday I found my passport in the mail box! It only took a week for them to process everything! Praise the Lord! He must really want me to do this!
On Wednesday I had a conversation with someone who I thought would not be willing to hear what I have to say about the race. Before I talked to them I asked God to soften both of our hearts and have us listen to each other without getting angry. When I called them, we were both willing to listen to each others concerns and explain our expectation of the race. They were willing to give me advice about what I can do to fundraise and what shots I may need! Again the Lord is blessing me!
I also contacted Fund the Nations about designing some shirts for me. I thought it was going to take them a couple days to think of a design, but they contacted me the next day with a design I absolutely love! I am now able to take pre-orders for these shirts and start fundraising for my trip! Another blessing!
