The moments on the Race that are the sweetest are the ones that take you by surprise.

Sometimes these moments come in the form of a cold coke, served as a gift from the village church you just preached for.

Sometimes it’s a curious child stroking your skin and weaving their fingers through your hair.

Sometimes it’s watching your teammate worship with the biggest smile on their face you’ve ever seen them wear in the 5 months since you met them.

Sometimes it’s spending the afternoon reading on the back porch with a teammate.

Sometimes it comes in the form of spending hours picking lice out of your teammate’s hair.

The sweetest moment of this month so far has been the one in which I realized Team Audacity had figured out how to be a team.

Somewhere between the orphans in Kazembe and the heat of Lilongwe, we reached the unity God has been speaking over us for a month now. We’re not perfect, nor will we ever be.

Yet, all the prayer has made an impact and God is working among us.

Please consider helping me reach my final fundraising goal so I can keep experiencing these sweet moments. I have under $1000 to raise by January 1st. Thank you so much for your continued prayers and support!
