Well, go time is just a couple of days away. I have no idea what to expect. I’m not as nervous as I was expecting to be, mostly I just want to leave right now! I’m definitely going to miss everybody back home, but I know that this is what I’m supposed to do. I want to thank everybody that is praying for me, this is huge. I don’t think I fully realize the importance of prayer right now. I find it hard to admit that I might come across something that I can’t handle on my own. I think that this is one of the reasons that I’m supposed to take this trip. I also want to thank everyone who has given financially. It helps out a lot, and is super encouraging that people want to share in this experience with me.

Saturday Jan. 3rd I’m heading to Miami, and then bright and early on the 4th we head to the Dominican Republic. We will have a week of training with AIM staff and our coaches once we get there. After that?      Well I have no idea.

This blog will be my main source of communication. You can send me a message on the “contact ” tab. That will send it right to my email. Or you can just comment on my blogsJ. If some of you are feeling extremely nice one day, you can send me a hand written note.

This obviously will not go directly to me, but our coaches will be meeting us on the field every month or so and they can bring letters. Well the next you hear from me will be in the D.R.

We had a rather large snowfall today, and this is a cave that me and my brothers made.
