Wow. India
is not really like I had imagined it. But I guess that shouldn’t surprise me.
The team and I are in Dehradun which is right at the base of the Himalayas. It’s very beautiful here. We’ve met up with a
ministry contact here named Brian. He has from America, but has been over here for
the last 20 years or so. So he has been very helpful. Giving us insight on the
culture, Hindi lessons, and so on. We have been doing a lot with his church and
a school they run for pre school kids, and kids that have never been in school.
A lot of kids work for a factory nearby and don’t go to school. So the ministry
they have set up offers them free school for awhile until they can go to a
government school. It’s been really fun hanging out with these little guys and
loving them. We teach them stuff too……… 🙂 Anyway. We have also
been doing some house visits with Brian.
word and letting him teach us. I’m not sure how long we’ll be here but probably
at least another week. I guess we’ll know when God brings up something else.
