This is a story all about how my life got flipped, turned upside down. I'd like to take a minute. Just sit right there. I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel- Air.——— Oh wait not my story. Okay calm down. Here is my story.

In order to go on The World Race you have to raise $15,500. That is a lot of doll hairs. That I ain't got. The money is broken down into deadlines. The first one is the Training Camp deadline=3,500. The next one is the launch deadline=6,500. Then its 3 months into the trip =11,000. Then by January 1, 2014 I need to be fully funded 15,500.

About a little less than a month ago I got a call from my mobilizer. She basically told me to pray about changing routes. To push back the dates of my race. It was pretty close to the first deadline and I still was a longs ways off. I still needed over 1,500 dollars and I had about a week to get it. through lots of prayer The Lord came through. I had friends, squad mates sharing my name. Money just came in from everywhere. It was wayyy too awesome.

Just this past I left Training Camp. Great week, but that's not what this blog is about. So leaving training camp I still need about $3,000 for the next deadline. I need to purchase travelers insurance that is $300, a plane ticket to get to Launch about $200-$300, and lastly a Yellow fever vaccination. Just a few short days after leaving Training Camp I started thinking of ways to raise over $3,000 in just a few short weeks. I remember running down the list to my new alumni racer friend Lindsay.  For a second I was worried about how I was gonna get all this money. Then I remembered who my father was. GOD!

Literally the next day I got a call from my Team leader Zach. He asked me how was my fundraising going? I told him I hadn't had the chance to do anything yet but had plans on doing lemonade stands, a car wash, and a bake sale, and what ever else I could sell. In that moment Zach informed me that my team 'Team Frureo' had collectively decided to pitch in and give me $500. I cried. I didn't know what to say. Literally minutes later I got a call from Heather. My lovely teammate. She said "Have you gotten travelers insurance yet?" I hadn't gotten it. She said she wanted to do that for me. I cried some more. Too many blessings for one day. Little to my knowledge oh it had only just began.

Later that same day I get a phone call from a girl. I didn't recognize the voice or her name. She said that she had heard about me from her friend and had been praying for me all week. We talked about The World Race for a bit then she said, " Well the Lord told me to donate, so tomorrow I'm mailing in a check for $800." I cried some more. I hope y'all are catching on that I cry!!! I go on thanking her for another 30 minutes then that was that.

Fast forward till about 2 days later. I go to check my world race account. I knew that money was coming and I want to see how much more I needed to raise. Go to the site. *refresh *refresh *refresh. I refreshed this page about 100 times. the numbers I were seeing couldn't be right. On top of the $500 my team gave me. The $800 Alison gave me. The $50 the heather gave me on top of paying for my insurance. The $50 from the monthly donor Charlene I gained this week from one of my former squad mates. I had an anonymous $1,000 donation. I balled my eyes out!! This is all just too much

This blog is not to brag about what happened to me. It is a small example of how good the God we serve is. This to be an encouragement to all who struggle with doubt. Who struggle with putting all faith in Christ. I want you to know that If it's his will for you. He absolutely WILL provide.
