The kingdomThe Kingdom of God is all around us and it is spreading like wildfire. Anywhere the World Race goes, the love of Christ is being spread. Our love for the people we meet is but an inkling of the love that Christ has for them. But that is our goal, to love the people of this world. We share the gospel through love.

The great commission says, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Matt 28:19. But this great task given to us by the Son is futile without the great commandment. “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all you soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. The second most important is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as much as you love yourself.” Matt 22:37-39. Love is the greatest commandment. How great is our God that He would command us to love?

God did not say preaching the gospel at a clinic, teaching and tutoring children, feeding orphans, helping drug addicts, or building fences and goat pens is the most important. No, love is the most important commandment. Why, because love in Christ produces all these things. When you find deep, everlasting satisfaction in God, then you can and will love other people.

Our team name, Ahabah (Ah-ha-VAH), means ‘love’ or ‘lovesick.’

The root of this word is Aheb, which means ‘to love.’ The root of love is an action. When you truly love someone you want to show it. You want to do things out of love. The ultimate symbol of love is the cross. Jesus gave His life out of love, so that we could have restoration with our Abba Father, God.

The best and only way, that I see, to show our love for God is to love His people. Love the world just as Jesus did when He lived on this Earth. This is what team Ahabah and I are doing. We are showing God’s love to our contacts and to the people of the communities we are in. We know we can’t change big things in one month (normally) but we can show God’s love. We can always share the gospel directly and indirectly through love.

So I ask you to help partner with me so that I can continue to share God’s love. We aren’t trying to change cultures; we are just sharing the best thing that has ever happened to the world, Jesus Christ. Both my team and I need continual prayer and I specifically need $5,800 to continue on this amazing work with God. He is doing more than I ever imagined. You can be apart of what is happing around the world by partnering with me and giving a financial gift.
