Our first month in India has been challenging but so rewarding. My team is working at an orphanage for kids with special needs. These kids have been rejected by their families because in India if a kid has special needs they are seen as a hindrance. I will tell you in the name of Jesus that these kids have a much greater purpose, and by the grace of God they will find a loving family. This ministry calls us to love the kids with an outrageous love that carries no judgment. God is the creator of this type of love because he loves every one without hesitation.
Here are some of the amazing kids that have changed my life.

First, is Melanie and she is a beautiful baby girl that gets treated like a queen at the orphanage. Our team likes to call her the Queen because she is always surrounded with three pillows, and when the fans turn off we have to fan her with sheets or she will most likely sends us to the dungeon. This little girl has captured my heart, and through her God has shown me how much he loves his children. I also think the Queen looks like the Grinch when she smiles. To clarify this statement I mean when the Grinch was a young boy in the Jim Carrey movie.

Second, is Rhoda and surprisingly I call this young girl Jim Carrey because she has this amazing laugh that mirrors his legendary laugh. This beautiful girl is about 10 years old and has the potential to walk but just needs some encouragement. I cannot tell you how many hours I sat on her bed and just watched her laugh, and every time she laughed I could not stop myself from experiencing the Joy that Lord has placed in her life.

Third, is Rasool and he is not a child instead he is a 35 year old man that was placed in the orphanage two years ago. Before going to the orphanage Rasool was in the Military and had a high ranking. He arrived at the orphanage after a horrific train accident where he suffered from brain damage and lost part of his leg. The beautiful part of this sad story is that Rasool came from a Muslim background, and his Muslim beliefs could not hold back Gods loving embrace especially when he picked up a bible (in his language) and couldn’t put it down. Rasool also had a long conversation with me yesterday where he told me some crazy things, but in the end he told me that I should go save India and that I’m a strong man. Those few words meant so much to me, and he said that he would love to help me save India.

Last, is Joshua and he is an incredible young man who pushed me to walk in the spirit, and to long for child like faith. The moment I walked in the room I looked over at Joshua, and thought to myself that my God has the power to heal him. Joshua has severe cerebral palsy in which all of his limbs are paralyzed, and the doctor at the orphanage told me that he would probably not progress. When the doctor said this I tried to dig deep for that child like faith. My team and I prayed healing over Joshua, and although nothing happened we feel that God brought about a Child Like faith in us, and persistence to see God move. I will continue to believe that God will heal him, but it will be under his timing and not my timing. He will always have a place in my heart, and I’m thankful that he was able to teach me true child like faith.
These children are a part of an incredible orphanage called Sarah’s Covenant Homes. Please support these children in any way possible because they are beautiful in every way and need our help. The orphanage needs about $20,000 a month, and that pays for diapers, food, water, pediasure, nurses, doctors, physical therapists,, and any other necessities. As an American I was born into a family that could provide for me, and that wanted to keep me. These kids were tossed aside because of their disabilities, and together we have a chance to give them that love, security, and comfort that God has called us to poor out on the less fortunate. The orphanage houses over 100 kids, and I encourage everyone to donate monthly or to help these kids to find a loving home. Here is a link to the website http://sarahscovenanthomes.blogspot.in/.
Thank you for all your love and support and lets just praise the Father for everything he has done. The call is urgent and our continuation in child like faith will move mountains and change atmospheres. John 14:13-14 “And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” This verse should pump us up so much, and we should be saying Peter did some amazing things but Jesus will work through us to do greater things in order to bring glory to the Father. WOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! AMEN!!! LETS MOVE IN THE SPIRIT AND TRULY BELIEVE IN THE FATHER AND HIS ULTIMATE AUTHORITY!!!!!
