Sawasdee Khap!

Due to the good pleasure of God, I have switched teams from "Tzadik58" to "Rooted Freedom" and I am ecstatic for the plans the Lord has for me and this team and also for my Tzadik family.  I have been telling Papa, "whatever you want, wherever you want it, whenever you want it, that's what I want" and now I get to joyfully live it as well as having the pleasure of serving alongside with wonderful brothers and sisters.

Here's a list of my new team members blogs; feel free to subscribe to their updates to know what's happening on this side of the world!

This month we are working with a Vineyard church in S. Thailand;  Nakhon Si Thammarat to be precise.  Legend has it, Buddhism entered Thailand from Sri Lanka in this city.  Many Thais come here as a sort of Mecca.  Our ministry this month is teaching English and working in schools as well as discipling the core members of the church we're serving with.  The beautiful thing about this church is that there are only 4 members besides the Pastor, his wife, and two kids.  Our Pastor, Pastor Phil, is an American missionary who has lived in Thailand for 8 years, and his wife, Pook was born in Thailand.  They are building relationship with many Thais and living incarnationally and it's a beautiful picture of Christ.

We have currently been here for two full days of ministry; which consisted of us teaching in a school and loving on the children and teachers.  We shared stories, sang songs, danced, and played games the first day.  I had the pleasure to share of the kingdom coming and how much is already here.  Today, we came back to the school to paint their bathrooms, a mural, and build futbol goals out of PVC Pipes and fishing net (much more difficult than it sounds by the way).  We then, had ourselves a good ol'  fashion futbol game!

I wanted to end this short little update with a reminder of my need for support; thank you so much to those who have given.  I still need to raise $1,590 in the next few weeks.  Please help by supporting and sharing this with your small groups, friends, etc.  Thank you for your love and prayers; they mean more than I can express.

Grace & Peace,
Michael
