THIS THIS THIS. OH, MY SOUL!

This hits so close to home on so many levels.  First, as a blogger, writer, and theology student, this video means SO much to me.  To be vulnerable with you, I spend way too much time writing and blogging as opposed to spending time in the secret place in intercession.

Secondly, the first two nations my team and I are going to are India and Nepal.  I will second Paul Washer's plea in intercession for these nations.

Thirdly, the need to go to the unreached where Christ has not been named.  To make known my glorious Redeemer to those who have never heard.  This is the cry of my heart and what brings me most joy.

In the words of John Piper:  "God has an inexhaustible enthusiasm for the supremacy of His name among the nations.  Therefore, let us bring our affections into line with His, and, for the sake of His name, let us renounce the quest for worldly comforts and join His global purpose."

And fourthly, the importance of intercession and prayer cannot be stretched enough!  "Poverty-stricken as the Church is today in many things, she is most stricken here, in the place of prayer. We have many organizers, but few agonizers, many players and payers, few prayers, many singers, few clingers; lots of pastors, few wrestlers; many fears, few tears; much fashion, little passion; many interferers, few intercessors; many writers, but few fighters.  Failing here, we fail everywhere." -Leonard Ravenhill

And in the words of E.M. Bounds:  "Four things let us ever keep in mind: God hears prayer, God heeds prayer, God answers prayer, and God delivers by prayer."

"Please, I covet your prayers.  My life, for whatever it is, it depends upon the prayers of the Saints.  So please pray for me, and pray for us, pray for Nepal and India, and all the other countries of the world, that Christ's name would be great among the nations from the rising and the setting of the sun, that he would receive the full reward for all his suffering."  You took the words right out of my mouth, Paul.
