So I found out yesterday that Nepal is the fastest growing church in the world!! And China is a very close number 2 by mere decimals….

If you know me, you know that I LOVE revival among the nations. In other words, I love reaching the unreached and joining the growing church movement in the world!!! I love seeing people on fire for Jesus and bringing the abundance of Heaven to earth! My heart yearns to see every tribe and tongue and nation hear the name of Jesus and experience the love of the Father!

From the moment we flew into Nepal, we could just feel the change in atmosphere. People are just so much more receptive to the love of Jesus here! Not to mention, the common greeting in Nepal is “Namaste”. We had a one week debrief last week here in Kathmandu where we got to rest and reflect on the month in India. It was so sweet to just tangibly feel more peaceful as compared to our time in India.

Today was our second day of ministry and it’s all squad month! That means there are 50 of us living at the same place and doing various types of ministry together. Yesterday and today, we went trekking all around Kathmandu and interceded for the nation!

Yesterday, we hiked up a mountain and asked The Lord what he has for this nation, wrote our words on a rock and put them in a pile on the mountain right next to a Hindu temple.

Today, we split into three groups and went to one of these places: Hindu temple, Buddhist temple, or Parliament. We asked The Lord what He’s doing in each of those places and partnered with what we heard Him saying over each location. I was at the Buddhist temple, and I saw a vision of these golden idols melting and flooding the city with the love of Jesus! A lot of people on my squad have been getting visions and words like that, which is super cool!

I’ve really loved seeing the power of prayer here. No prayer goes unheard in heaven, even if we don’t see immediate fruit! Here are two of the verses that I’ve been hearing and praying over Nepal:

For as the earth brings forth its sprouts,
and as a garden causes what is sown in it to sprout up,
so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise
to sprout up before all the nations.
[Isaish 61:11]

For creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God. [Romans 8:19-21]

I’m so excited for this month and I know that everyone on my squad has been praying HUGE prayers for what God is going to do here, so please join us in praying!!

here are more pix from Nepal so far. It’s beautiful!
