Sooo, two cool God sightings to mention this weekend!!
The first: last night we went to a LIT worship night at the church we’ve been going to this month. At one point during the night, everyone in the room was interceding for the city of Hyderabad, for God to break down walls and send an outpouring of His Spirit on this city. We literally were praying & singing “like a flood, like a flood, we receive your rain” and declaring that God’s rain would pour out on this city, breaking down walls, and raising up revival!! Ask and you will receive, says the Lord…
The second we stepped out of church to walk home, there was literally the biggest monsoon we’ve ever experienced. It was like the heavens opened and God was literally answering every prayer that we had just prayed in that church!! My team and I were having a blast dancing and singing and praying in the monsoon that continued the entire 30 minute walk home. The rain was pouring so hard that we were walking in literal rivers by the time we got to our street.
I truly believe that what we were experiencing in the natural was just a glimpse of what was happening in the supernatural last night….imagine what was going on in the heavens!! God has such an amazing sense of humor.
The second amazing God sighting was when we did an ATL (Ask The Lord) today on our adventure day! That basically means that we ask God to lead us to someone via words/visions/impressions. I attempted my first vlog ever, so bear with me as I get the hang of this thing….but here it is!!
Theme of the day: empowering women at the fort (because women are so opressed in India), so on top of the one specific woman we were looking for to give the note, we got to take selfies with a lot of women today to make them feel special!! Men came up to us probably every 2 minutes to ask for a selfie, and in response, we would point to the woman he was with and ask for her to be in it with us. The woman would light up and look so surprised! It was truly amazing to see them feel so loved and noticed! This is how Jesus wants everyone to feel.
