As per usual, here are some photos with Honest Captions for Viet Nam – they’re a little late sorry!
This number song was always stuck in our heads – we still sometimes sing it – and I usually hid behind my camera just so I didn’t have to teach it….
Watching Jess interact with kiddos is one of my favorite things to do when we have children’s ministry. I have a really great photo of her with a new kiddo but she didn’t want it posted 🙁 So ask her if you would like to see the best photo I took all month.
This is pretty much how I feel about children’s ministry – a little scared, a little confused, and a little bit intrigued.
It was POURING rain one day, to the point that I ran to the glass door and stared with a grin from ear to ear. If you know me, you know I LOVE the rain so you can picture that smile! I just wish I could have taken my photo to a more photogenic area.
I actually thought this girl was a boy for the first two weeks of ministry – none the less she was still one of my favorites in the youngest class.
This kid started posing when I tried to take a cool candid photo – but I still like how it turned out.
The fountain in the middle was going when we first came to tour the Reunification Palace, and I was excited to get to the roof and take a photo from above with the water spraying – but when I walked out on the balcony THERE WAS NO WATER. So I took the photo specifically for this blog.
This is one of the classrooms at the local school – I went with Jess to assist the teacher and take photos, but the teacher thought we were teacher. So Jess and I taught English on the fly for 2 hours instead of taking pictures and assisting.
This is what I thought of when I thought about Vietnam – the banana boat with rice hats – so thanks to the Mekong Delta tour for making my dreams come true.
This kid was in trouble when I came up the stairs, but he was too cute not to sit and chat with for a bit before I went into class.
Thanks for reading and looking at the photos. I don’t have my portfolio updated yet – but that’ll be done soon! Check out what’s on there now and Viet Nam should be posted soon.
