This is my favorite panoramic photograph I have ever taken! The sunrises in Nepal were stunning, to be honest, a lot of Nepal was stunning – I am a mountain girl at heart, so that may be a bias statement.

Sometimes in the village you run cross a very nice local who offers you water, and that may just be after a 5 mile hike up a mountain when you have finished all your water.  This trail angel couldn’t speak English, and I questioned for a second weather or not the water would be safe to drink.  However, our team was extremely thankful for the refill, and we appear to not have any water born illnesses!

This may not be what life on the race looks like everyday, but I thought it looked cool to have a chicken neighboring our small tent village we slept in for 4 nights!

I wasn’t planning on taking this child’s photograph, but then the mother waved me and Kimmy down and asked us to take photos of her child.  I liked a few of them, but they weren’t my favorite photos from Nepal.

We had a “prophetic painting” day, where we all painted a word from the Lord and then that afternoon handed them out.  At first it was a little weird for our squad, a lot of us struggle with hearing clearly from the Lord, a lot of us suck at painting, and a lot of us were nervous to walk up to a stranger and give them a painting saying “the Lord wanted me to paint this for you.” However, we made room for the Holy Spirit to work in and through us, and HE SHOWED UP!

I took this from the bus as we were driving up a mountain to go bungee jumping, but I actually really like the way it turned out.

I awkwardly asked this guy if I could take his photo at a Buddhist temple, and then took his and his two friends photos.  He was the only one who smiled.  I then tried to converse with them but we couldn’t understand each other so I walked away after some uncomfortable smile/laughs.

I actually still do not know the significance of the prayer flags, but I still think they look cool.

While it was important for me to see Mt. Everest, and as exciting as it was to be in cockpit of the plane… I still prefer to sit in the cockpit with my Dad.

This is the only time so far I have been upset that I did not bring a zoom lens.
