Hello Friends!

Albania is the best. Like I am in LOVE.
I wasn’t expecting to see mountains again until December, but the scenery here is full of mountains that stretch for the sky, and I wake up to the sunrise sunshine peaking over the top and into my tent.  It’s quite possibly the best, what makes it even better is that there are two huskies that start their funny howls at about the same time.  If I’m extra energetic I can take them for a walk to the lake, but that usually waits until the evening.

During the days we’ve done a couple of things.  The first week we handed out New Testaments in the local village which is predominantly muslim.  We then went to our host’s school, which is actually the 6th floor of an apartment building, and met the kiddos.  This week we have been putting on an “all American summer camp” for the kids, which we will do for the remainder of our time here.

I hope to have photos up soon for you all to enjoy, but until then know that I am LOVING this month, loving Albania, and LOVING my team.

p.s. AIM has shifted the blogging expectations to focus on 1 blog a week, so you may hear from me a little bit less often, but you will be filled in on all the Kingdom stories the Lord has for me this year.
