It has been a little over two months since I have been home in the USA. I am so thankful for all of the support given to me when I was on the race and for all of the support given to me since being home.

It was an amazing year spent with people who I now consider family. I got to see some of the most beautiful parts of the world and experience the presence of God there as well. There were also some hard times that brought me face to face with the harsh realities of this world, but I was also given the chance to bring love in every situation.

I am so thankful that this last year is the starting point of where my life will go. It is not a once a lifetime thing, but rather one part of the adventure that is my life. In fact the next part of my adventure will begin very soon, in september I am moving to Georgia to begin a program called Center for Global Action or CGA.

CGA is an apprenticeship/discipleship program that is run by the organization AIM which I went on the race with. I will be there for 12 months and spend part of my day working in the offices of AIM and the other part of the day in the class room taking classes.

I will be raising funds for my year in Georgia in order to pay for school and minimal living expenses plus money to help get me home for the holidays(ie. the birth of my first niece!) The amount of funds needed for school is $3,600 for the year, if you would like to help cover the cost for school or any of the above mentioned things you can support me the same way as for the race via my blog with the support me tab or send a check to adventures in missions.

Below is a video that has more information about CGA!
