Dude! Training camp was insane! I watched God go all over the place and move people from bondage, crazy healing, and such awesome deliverance. I feel so blessed to be a part of something so incredible and cannot wait to be out on the field in just 6 weeks! Just 4 weeks from now, I need to be at $10,000 raised, which means I need to raise about $4,700 by then, which I know can and will happen! So, back to training camp! Training camp was a wild ride, like I said above, God did some crazy cool things. He provided so much assurance about the choices I am making and the people He is placing around me to spend these 11 months with.
Day 1, I get in my car and drive to go meet some squadmates so we can road trip down to Georgia. I got in the car and while sitting with these people I have never met before, I realize that nothing seems strange, I literally just got into a car with three people I considered strangers, and everything felt natural. With that realization, I felt a wave of peace fall over me, the Lord was telling me that I was exactly where I needed to be and was exactly where He wanted me to be. I love it!
The next couple days were awesome, as we met the rest of our squad, it was the same exact phenomenon. Not a thing felt out of the norm, we were becoming family so quickly.. I mean, we are O squad and deemed ourselves as ‘Ohana’ months ago, so I suppose I shouldn’t have been surprised. But either way, everything felt like it was falling right into place, it was so cool! I love the way that God just wove us all into each other’s paths in the perfect way that He intended it to be, there was no doubt.
As the week progressed, the Spirit began to move more and more. God provided countless moments of prophecy, healing, and deliverance, and that was just absolutely amazing to see and experience. There was one evening in particular that really stuck out to me, as well as most of the other participants that were there (since we talked about it non stop since that night). The man speaking was talking bout the authority we have in Jesus and about how we can use that authority to pray healing and actually see it happen right in front of our eyes.
Like legit, God SHOWED UP that night, it started out with the speaker praying over a squadmate of mine who dealt with the same migraine for over 7 years. After just a little prayer and 100% faith, she was healed. After that, the speaker told us that we all possess the Spirit and through our prayer and faith, healing is a reality for all of us. He asked each person who dealt with pain or physical ailment to raise their hands and then asked the people around those people to begin praying over those people.
Left and right throughout the room, everybody broke out into prayer. There was one girl who had severe hearing loss in both ears, 100% healed, perfect hearing now. Another girl whose leg had gotten surgery over and she was still dealing with pain and couldn’t stretch too far, BAM, healed. Somebody else who’s legs were different lengths… literally her leg grew, like in front of our eyes. There are like 100 other testimonies that I could type on, but I think you get the point, God is a great healer, and all it required was for us to actually, truly recognize the power and authority that we receive through Him.
Luke 10:19 says, “Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.”
I have noticed that a lot of Christians do not really act out in the power and authority we are given over the enemy, but dude, its super real! We have authority and need to use it to provide healing, deliverance, and freedom!
I absolutely loved training camp and learned so much about what God really has for me. I cannot wait to be on the field, growing in the Lord and using His authority to fight the enemy and help the Kingdom grow. God ferociously loves us and wants for all His children to thrive in the world that He gave us, we just need to trust in Him and have faith in knowing that He can do all things. Forreal tho, I cannot wait to depart in just 6 weeks!!
