As I sat here trying to figure out what I wanted to write about the door bell rang and the roof inspector was here to inspect our house to see if there was any damage or if it was holding strong. Then it hit me, what if I was randomly inspected, how would I hold up? Would there be forgotten/hidden/unresolved damage? Or would I hold strong even in the worst of storms?

I know in my life that there has been damage done and I try and try to patch that leak with duct tape or whatever I can find, but even to some peoples disbelief…duct tape doesn’t fix everything. We cannot just keep on trying to cover our damaged goods, we need to just bring it to our inspector’s attention and ask to be strengthened and rebuilt.

After much construction and repair, I am now ready to bring on the toughest storms. Although, I am built tough, there will still be blemishes and dents that can happen but the ultimatum is whether or not you are willing to go to your inspector to be rebuilt even stronger.

Joshua 1:9 “I command you-be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Philippians 4:13 “For I can do everything with the help of Christ who gives me the strength I need.”
