- Spend Christmas with Family and Relatives VS. Spending Christmas with new family I’ve known for just under 3 months…Oh and a bunch of Nicaraguans
- White cold Christmas VS. Hot and sunny Christmas
- Make snow man VS. Make a sand castle
- Eat a big feast that we bought from the grocery store VS. growing and killing our own feast (Chicken and Goat)
- Put up Christmas lights VS. Hope the power stays on so we can have lights
- Go to traditional English church service VS. Having the entire church to our place for a Spanish service
- Look forward to all the presents under the tree VS. Pumped if I get a spoonful of peanut butter
