Happy new year!
I have updated my facebook group but realized there may be some people who read my blogs who are not apart of my facebook group so I wanted to give you all a quick update and we wrap up 2019.
My squad leaves in a WEEK. Well, I leave in a week to meet my squad in Florida, then we will be leaving to go to Peru on Jan. 8th 2020!!!
In order to leave and go with my squad I am still needing roughly $6,000 dollars.
I wanted to let everyone know that if you have already donated, or if you donate between now and Jan 8th but I do not raise have the funds needed to leave that all money donated to me for the world race will continue to stay with me in my account, and will still go towards me going on the world race I will just be leaving at a different time (most likely Jan 2021). I will have a new squad, and a new list of countries but it will still be the same organization and the same trip. Though, I still hope and believe I will get to launch with my current squad.
I also just wanted to remind everyone that if you choose to donate towards my trip and you do so through adventures in missions (by clicking donate on my blog site, or mailing a check directly to adventures in missions with my full name in the memo) it is considered a tax write off!
You could also choose to give to me directly, this WILL NOT be a tax write off but will help me with a few things needed that are not included in the fundraising money (such as my 1st flight to meet my squad, my last flight home, gear, hotel room night I meet my squad, and any extra living expenses outside of the basic things provided throughout the year).
