Hello!

Well, it’s a Sunday evening and I was just relaxing kind of preparing myself for the next week. I decided to go ahead and get used to blogging so here I am.

This week has been pretty good. I have been working hard on preparing for both the World Race and my trip coming up to Ukraine.  For the world race, my dad and I went to Dallas to the REI store and I picked out my pack, and I’ve been working hard on making a game plan for fundraising.  For my Ukraine trip, I have gotten my English material and started preparing for that, decided I am going to try and pack everything in my new pack to get used to it a little bit. I am on the drama team so I learned my first two skits. They are really good so I’m excited about that. I leave June 19th most of my focus has been on that trip. Today we did a spaghetti plate lunch fundraiser, it was a great turn out! I loved spending time with my team members, we have such a great team going! But it also made me so anxious and excited to meet my squad for the world race too.

I am not sure what all these blogs are going to end up looking like, so if you have anything, in particular, you’d like to know about, or read about please leave comments down below. I want everyone to know I am so excited about this journey, and I want to share it with you all. I think my next few blogs will be about each of the countries I am going to as I do research on them.

Before I leave I wanted to share what the Lord has been teaching me this week. He has led me to 2 Timothy 2:11-13 which says ” for this is a trustworthy statement for if we die with him, we will also live with him. If we endure hardship we will reign with him if we deny him he will deny us if we are unfaithful he will remain faithful for he cannot deny who he is”

That last part got me. He cannot deny who he is, and he IS faithful. So take that with you as you leave, whatever you are going through remember he is faithful.

Also, I would love to pray for y’all as y’all pray for me so please let me know if there is anything I can pray for!

Thank you so much for your support and for taking the time to read my blog!

Michelle

Prayer request

1. Fundraising – that it goes smoothly and that I will be fully funded by December

2. For my trip to Ukraine – also that the funds would be met, but also for my team as e take these next 17 days to prepare

3. That even while preparing for two extremely exciting trips that I will still be able to be in the present, to make the most out of my time with my ladies at work, and all of my friends and family.
