Here we go, take 3.
I dont know what is up with this thing tonight. I have literally tried to update you guys THREE times now. Hopefully this one will find you all well.
It’s been about a month since I have updated yall so I thought I would just give yall a quick little update. The first is THANK YOU. For the month of July I was a partner with Go Rings. If you raise a certain amount of money they may ask you to extend your partnership which THANKS TO ALL OF YOU I have raised enough that they decided to ask me to extend into August.
Next I would just like to share a little bit of what God has been working with me on in the past month. He has really been showing me how to BE STILL and just ENJOY his presence. I have been learning about and working on listening prayer you know when you dont do all the talking and you actually stop and listen…. I’ve come to really enjoy sitting at the park with my bible my journal two or more colored ink pens and a kumbacha.
Next up on the update talk is WE HAVE STARTED SQUAD WARS. Guys, things are starting to get so real. I am BEYOND excited about these things. So I am on D squad and our color is green or at least it was green in the email and anyone who knows me knows I love lime green so I am claiming it. but basically we will now get to grow more as a team and do little things for points to compete against other teams that will be going on the world race in January as well, just to different countries.
Also, this blog post is somewhat short partially due to the fact this is my 3rd time writing it and partially due to the fact there will be another one REAL SOON because IM GOING TO COLORADO. I leave Sunday August 11th and will return Saturday August 17th. I will be going to a healing conference with ALLISON who is going on the world race with me! Excited is an understatement.
This months prayer request include:
1. My first deadline of $5,000 is in September so please continue to pray with me that is met, but also that I will be fully funded before leaving in Janurary.
2. For safe travels this week as I am going to Colorado.
3. For gear. I need to start finding and preparing by getting things like a tent, sleeping bag, headlamp….. long list of gear type things.
