Hey everyone! Coming to you from Honduras with a much overdue update. About two weeks ago we said our goodbyes in Cambodia and headed to Thailand for LDW (Leadership Development Weekend). After over 40 hours of travelling, 4 flights, and 6 countries in 5 days, we safely landed in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. My team and another all girls team are staying in the mountains, living and working at Loyalty School (a pre-K to grade 9 school), teaching, working to fix up the school and evangelizing in the community, for the next two months. It’s mind blowing to me that we’ve just started month three of the race, time has really flown! God has already done so much in the hearts of my teammates and me and I cannot wait to see what He continues to do over the next two months.

The minute we got here I could tell these next few months are going to be life changing. Although I can speak a max of 10 words in Spanish, our hosts have been so accommodating and kind, making efforts to connect with us and making themselves available. I’m overjoyed to be in the mountains and not sweating profusely. The view from our house is simply breathtaking. I’ve never seen something so beautiful. Thanks to jet leg I find myself awake anywhere ?from 3am-5am?, but I honestly wouldn’t trade for better sleep. The ?3am? stars are awe-striking and the ?5:30am? sunrises are the most peaceful way to start each day. The Lord really knows my heart for nature. I feel so blessed to be in the heart of His creation of the Honduran mountains.

Wifi is very limited here, but I will do my best to continue to post updates of the adventures my team and I go on and what God does in our lives over the next two months!
