I think we can get stuck in the mindset that our questions are too big, too broad to even be asked. Getting an answer seems impossible. Some prayers seem too far fetched or just pointless, they’re never going to be answered…and that’s where one backs themselves into a corner making sure they’re right. Because if you never ask those questions or pray those prayers, you’re right in saying “i’ll never get the answer,” right in thinking the Lord won’t answer. HE can’t say YES if we don’t ASK. God wants us to know Him and to know us intimately. The only way to build that relationship and connection is to ask the hard questions, that seem way too big to ever be answered. Pray the prayers that seem too far fetched to get a yes. Intentionally seek the Lord and what He has for you EVERYDAY. And yes, the Lord works on his own timing, nothing will ever change that, but His plan and His timing is perfect. The answer might not always be “yes!” But whatever the answer is, it will be the best for your life.
I think it’s important to remind ourselves of this often, because it can be easy to get into our own heads and doubt that He’s going to answer. HE WILL !
