Our Ministry
For our ministry these next 3 months, we have the privilege of partnering with Restaurando de la Familia, a church in the small town Parramos. While we will always be ready to serve the church however they need, here is what our weeks of scheduled ministry will look like!
Monday- We wake up around 5:30am and jump on the “chicken bus” to go make and serve breakfast to the kids before they go to school. Following our breakfast ministry we go spend time at a local elderly home.
Tuesday- We spend Tuesday mornings visiting homes and building relationships within the community of Parramos. Later in the afternoon we have women’s ministry, and we spend the afternoon in the town square painting nails, styling hair, and doing makeup for the women who often don’t have the opportunity to treat themselves in that way.
Wednesday- We serve at the breakfast ministry again in the morning, then we get to continue to walk around Parramos and do door to door ministry. In the evening we get to provide child care for the Wednesday night church service and teach them about Jesus!
Thursday- We once again have breakfast ministry in the morning, then we have the amazing opportunity to teach English to over 200 kids in the afternoon.
Friday- The church we partner with has a very good relationship with the local mayor, so we will be doing yard work around the mayor’s office in the mornings, followed by teaching some more English in the afternoons!
Thank you for all of the support and prayers!
Blessings,
Michelle Moxley
