I decided to mix it up this week for my blog and share some photos of my ministry and what this week looked like me in Guatemala!!

*Due to the lack of high speed internet (what a shocker right?!), I was only able to upload 2 photos from each day, so sadly there are not pictures from all of our ministry opportunities throughout the days*

Monday

We spent most of Monday at an old folks home coloring, exercising, and just spending time with these sweet souls.

Tuesday

On Tuesdays we spend about 4 hours in the afternoon doing nails, hair, and makeup (facepaint for little kids) for free in the local park.

Wednesday

Wednesday nights my team gets to teach a Bible class to about 20 children, and this week I taught on Jesus feeding the 5,000! Below is a picture with some of the kids and 2 of my teammates. Tylynn (the one holding the sign) is still fundraising for this year. She is currently doing a fundraiser called Adopt a Box. I would love to keep serving Jesus along side here, so I would love if you would check out her blog for more info or to donate! https://tylynnhochstetler.theworldrace.org

Thursday

On Thursdays my team and I get to make house visits, and this week we spent all day at Manuel’s (pictured above) house. He is one of a kind and has a pretty great story  (make sure you read next weeks blog to hear more about him!!) We helped him de-cobb dry corn all day and he shared his love for music with us! He even played us some classic hymns, and we tried our very best to sing along.

Friday

I have the privilege of serving my squad as a logistic leader, and on Fridays my logistics partner (pictured below) and I spend the day planning the upcoming travel days and debriefs for our squad. I absolutely love serving the squad in this way, and I will also be posting a blog soon with more details about what this role entails and with more info on my amazing partner!

See you next week!
