Hello framily!
Today was the last day of Debrief. Debrief is a time to relax, catch up with the rest of the squad, pray and worship together. It’s a time to reflect on the last month and prepare for the next.
Tonight, our coach Jimmie encouraged us to zoom in. When we zoom into a particular thing the rest of the picture fades and the particular thing gets bigger. He said when we zoom in on our struggles than our God gets put into our pockets. When we magnify our issues, our God gets small.
BUT our God is NOT small. No matter where we go He is there. His love knows no limits. His power cannot be limited. His knowledge has no bounds. Our God is the Creator of Heaven, earth and every single human. When we zoom into this God, everything else fades.
I know I keep writing this, but I need to keep reminding myself. Because almost every day I must make a choice to lay down my issue and focus on His Majesty.
He is so worthy.
This month, I don’t want to be bogged down by my ‘issues’ or my flesh desires. But I am going to walk in the Spirit.
“And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.”
Galatians 5:24-25 ESV
Tomorrow, my team, squad leader Kaitlin and I will be traveling two hours to Novi Sad. We will be staying in a church and serving along side them.
Pray for us to focus on the True King who is worthy of all praise.
