Sometimes ministry doesn’t feel like ministry.

In training camp, they kept repeating that life is ministry and ministry is life.  I have learned on the race that it means to be ready for opportunities during set ministry hours and off hours.  It means being ready to talk with a man on crutches during a set time to pray and reflect over a month.  It means at the grocery store inviting a youth to your event or just smiling and having a conversation.

Life is ministry and ministry is life.  It means everything we do can give glory to God.  In every situation, in all places we must choose to be His witnesses.

Life is not always serious! That means ministry doesn’t always include preaching, teaching or cleaning. Tonight, it looked like spicy uno, mafia and four on a couch.  🙂  Though we didn’t have life changing conversations, we made deeper connections with youth kids.  We laughed and had fun together!  (Even though several threats were made during the game of mafia lol)

I am so glad God created us with the ability to have fun! He created us to enjoy, laugh and be creative.  It brings glory to His name.

So take time to have fun! Ask Jesus how to have fun with Him. Ask Him how to have fun with those around you. Then enjoy those moments WITH Him.

Good night!
