Hey guys!
I feel like I just got off the plane to Albania, but tomorrow will be a week. And this week has been full – full of worship, prayer, laughter and relationship. We have prayed over Tirana and learned more about the culture of Albania. We have visited a high school and had conversations with the students. We have walked the streets and invited people to the church for coffee and to hang out with us.
Today, my teammate and I talked with three seniors in a local high school for the arts. It was so fun to see my teammate connect with these students through art. Sarah Ann is an amazing watercolor artist and Jesus used this to build a deeper connection with these girls.
They invited us into their school to show us their own art. We ended up getting a mini textile lecture from a teacher and seeing some of their acrylic portraits.
It was amazing to listen to their dreams and aspirations. While we didn’t get an opportunity to share Jesus with them today, I pray for deeper conversations later down the road.
I think that’s what this month is going to be all about: initiating connections and letting those connections lead to Jesus.
Pray for my team, for boldness to speak to new people and pray for open hearts in all those we come into contact with!
