It’s been quite the summer of learning how to trust God’s goodness and faithfulness each and every day.
From starting out with $150 deposit at the beginning of March and leaving almost 75% funded ($12,550 raised!!) at the end of this summer, I am humbled and grateful.
God has shown me that $17,017 is more than just a number, a “road block”, and a big hairy giant. It is numerous couples, children, families, sisters, grandparents, friends, and so many other incredible people teaming together to support me as I answer God’s calling for my life.
As I sit here and prepare to leave for Phoenix in the morning, I am grateful for the ways God has blown my expectations; humbled my heart, given me courage, and invited me to trust Him completely.
With gratitude, I thank each and every one of you incredible supporters for making the World Race possible. Thank you for taking the time to hear my passion for going and serving abroad, giving resources to make it possible, and encouraging me along the way.
Though not everyone is called to serve abroad, I have found that God uses each and every one of us in a unique way to further His kingdom. So, thank you to each and every one of you for helping partner with me in furthering God’s kingdom here on earth. You have given abundantly, and I am excited to watch as God uses your abundance through my life to serve the lost and forgotten around the world.
I started this summer with an anxious heart, but end it with a grateful and full heart. Thank you for continually blessing me with your love and support!
I will continue to blog as I head back to Phoenix for one final semester and look forward to sharing with you how God provides the final $4,467 for launching in January.
Please pray with me as I seek to finish support raising by the end of August! God is bigger than $17,017 and WAY BIGGER than $4,467!
