This past year, I found myself wondering: There must be more than graduating from college, going to graduate school, and finding a job, right? Turns out, there is.

For me, it’s a mission trip program called the World Race, through which I’ll be going on an 11-month mission trip to 11 countries next year. The World Race is a calling to simply “GO” and serve “the least of these” while living among a real and raw community. It furthers discipleship and births partnerships with ministries around the world. The World Race is an opportunity to further God’s kingdom here on earth.

My mission on this trip will be to share the gospel (Matthew 28:19) while also discovering the abundant life God has called me into. It will take me out of my comfort zone, away from the status quo and American dream, and will expose me to what God is doing in the rest of world.

Check out the YouTube link below to hear from Seth Barnes, the founder of the World Race. You won’t want to miss out on this visual glimpse into what the World Race looks like!

The World Race is connected to and coordinated by Adventures in Missions, which has been sending short- and long-term missionaries out since 1989. The World Race launched its first squad in 2006 to Mexico and throughout the past decade has continued to send disciples around the world.

Next week, I’ll be posting about why I’ve been called to the World Race. Hit the link Follow Me on the left side of my blog and enter your email or phone number to receive alerts for blog updates. Thank you for taking a minute to read this blog post and watch the video. If you know of anyone who would be interested in hearing more about the World Race and following my adventure, please share this link with them: http://michellecupp.theworldrace.org/.
