AFRICA IS INCREDIBLE! Rolling into Month 9 and a continent change I forgot how much I was looking forward to Africa. Part of the reason I chose the route I’m on is because I’ve had a dream to visit Africa ever since grade school.
After traveling for 4 days straight from Sofia to Doha to Joberg to Bulawayo, I have arrived into Zimbabwe with team AfricanLoveYou.
We were greeted with big smiles and joy by the people and hosts in Bulawayo. Instantly I couldn’t help but feel abundant joy because everyone around me was so joyful. Zimbabwe has been nothing but amazing.
We are partnering with a vibrant ministry who continues to impact the youth of Zimbabwe for Christ. We have seen the impact that the ministry has been having on the youth and it’s nothing but full of the Lord and the pouring out of his unconditional love.
We are living at a camp site this month and helping the staff remake an obstacle course, clean the camp grounds, and prepare for camp next week. We are living alongside some pretty great brothers in Christ. Each of their relationships with the Lord are so real and beautiful. They’ve been speaking into our race and the grand ways God continues to show up in our lives.
Africa is everything and so much more than I expected it to be. God is moving and creating beautiful stories all over Zimbabwe and it’s a true joy to be a part of experiencing God on another continent.
I’ve enjoyed cooking great meals alongside awesome company, participating in great community, playing Catan, and diving deeper into the word with the Lord.
We might only have 3 months left, but they’re going to be some of the greatest months on the race. Oh Africa you have won my heart and it’s only been a week. ??
We are in the “Cush bush” this month so I don’t have wifi. Please continue praying for our safety and energy! Pray for miraculous encounters and that we would continue to bring the kingdom everywhere we go!
