“Compassion is doing what is needed to help the hurts of others.”

This past weekend we helped the Life Skills children make oral reports on compassion. Over the past few weeks the kids have been learning about elephants and compassion separately and now they get to pair them together in an oral report. Next Friday they will be presenting their reports and it will be exciting to hear how they explain compassion and what it looks like in their own lives. We may not be able to openly share Jesus with these kids, but we can share His love with them.

Compassion is a foreign concept here in Vietnam, yet the children of high powered officials in this country are learning what it means to help the poor and look for ways to show compassion to those who are hurting. As we reach these kids, the hope is for them to one day change the way Vietnam operates and to show compassion to the poor and hurting.

Vietnam is building momentum for the Kingdom and it has been unreal to be a part of bringing the Kingdom here. As we finish our last week here (super sad), I am grateful for all that the Lord continues to reveal to me about what Ministry for the Kingdom looks like. Ministry can be a simple smile and a hug, a coffee date, or sitting in a Vietnamese classroom teaching English. God is so intentional and cool.

*LOVE spending time in the classroom with these two cuties

Have a GREAT week!
