Answer: Nope.

Reason: They say there is a "method to their madness."

…and I'll admit I'm finally catching on…

None of us knew what was going on. We really didn't know what to expect or how to pack. No agenda or schedule of events were ever handed to us.

I stepped outta my apartment and said,
"Here we go! Bombs away!"

The minute we drove up the dusty road on the Tennessee mountains I felt like I was pulling into summer camp of 1998 at Big Prarie and I thought, “What have I signed myself up for?” And it was too late.

There was no turning back.

I was officially past the point of return.

The first thing they told us to do was- don’t have expectations. Mmmmk… that's a little tricky but here we go. I will be open to this week at training camp and open to this next year of my life.

Open.

Open minded… to the worship, prayer, teaching, team bonding, food, possible senarios, and even the ridiculous things they made us do.

So if you're a future racer out there just a few things you CAN expect…

-You will feel a little lost or confused of what’s going on. Now I understand why- I suppose that’s what the next year of my life will look like.

-Get ready to pack, unpack only to repack and unpack times 70 and hike to a new location every single day.

Why you may ask?

So that you will PACK LIGHT.  I will now pack lighter.
MUCH lighter.

-Complete exhaustion. I don’t know if it was just me, the wild roosters at the crack of dawn, “lost” sleepingbags, or my fellow precious snoring squadmates.. I still love you.
Ear plugs and tylenol pm- I will be taking you everywhere I go.

-Trying new foods, eating with your fingers, or sharing your
food when all of a sudden it runs out on budget day.

-Loving your squadmates and really feeling like they are your family- even when they wake you up at 5am playing obnoxious music.

-Letting go of your fears … of the unknown, of everything comfortable, and saying goodbye to your loved ones…

-Experiencing God in new ways.

-Worshiping and dancing in true freedom.

-Finding power in thankfulness.

-Speaking life and truth to one another.

-And to truly believe that WE are the answer. God has no plan B. His ultimate plan to advance the Kingdom is to use us. Heaven is invading earth- through ME and YOU.

I’m starting to catch the vision and I’m really excited!

Oh yea and I found out my team!!!
Here’s a quick snap shot- I’ll tell you more about them later. I love each one already.
