Continued from my last blog, the last 2 weeks we have seen over 200 people come to Christ!!! Praise God!! And the pastors of the churches we are partnering with wrote all their names down and will make sure to follow up with them and disciple them, so they can mature in their walk with the Lord. In those villages we saw 3 chiefs surrender their lives to Christ! All glory to God! For it is God who softens the heart of a person and works in them. It is not us, it is all Him.We just obediently share the Gospel of His love, as His tools. He does the rest! We were told by the local pastors that the odds of a chief coming to Christ is VERY RARE! Many of them are heavily involved in witchcraft and many are witch doctors of their village. They are the leaders and many times the father/grandfather of many of the villagers. So it was so exciting to see them give up their sorcery and witch craft to follow Jesus and give their lives up to Him!!! One of the chiefs even showed up at our church service the next day to learn more about his new relationship with Christ.
Each village we went to i saw little children as young as 2 yrs old wearing witch craft charm necklaces that their parents and grandparents had placed on them. It broke my heart to see these young toddlers being subjected to evil spirits where they had no chance to choose for themselves. God has given me MORE BOLDNESS each time i preach His word and truth, and in one village He used me to call out their evil ways. In villages nearby, pastors had been persecuted and stoned for preaching such messages recently and part of me was a little scared to preach it. But i didnt want to pull a Jonah and not be obedient to God, so out of obedience i preached the bold message He put on my heart to preach, for about 45 minutes, as they glared at me. Haha. I was ready for them to start picking up stones. But afterwards, at least 12 people accepted Jesus in their life!!!All glory to God! He is mighty to save. His Living Word peirces our hearts like a double edged sword! Cutting through flesh and bone, to expose our hearts condition. One older lady who had been involved with witch craft for over 30 yrs cut her charm off her neck after she prayed to accept Christ!!! Amen!! We for rid off it for good. Another young girl had 2 charms on her body, and she was screaming, being tormented by evil spirits. It was horrible…but right when we cut it off she was at peace, and we prayed over her! In the name of Jesus, everything is possible according to His will!Amen!!
I prayed for an elderly lady named Lucy who was laying on the ground and her right leg was paralyzed.She hobbled around with a walking stick when she had to get around. I asked her if she had faith that Jesus could heal her. She said yes. I prayed in Jesus name for Him to heal her right leg, then asked her to get up and walk. I helped her get up and she began to walk!!! Jesus healed her paralyzed leg!!!! Amen!! Our God is mighty!
