On Thanksgiving my team & i traveled to a few Muslim villages. They politely welcomed us, despite past hostility towards Muslims & Christians in that area.God gave us favor that day & His grace & love! We shared the gospe with several houses & over 35 Muslims surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ that day & confessed with their mouths that Jesus died on the Cross for their sins & that they KNEW the only way to be right in God’s eyes was by the blood of Jesus!Amen! Lots of rejoicing that day! We were invited to pray over 2 of their houses & pray for them to haev boldness to stand up to the truth when others persecute them. We prayed for a woman named Angela who was an alcoholic & a woman named Violet. Both were Muslims who came to Christ that day. They told us that we were the first white people who sat in the dirt with them and shared the Gospel with them, not acting prideful or acting better than them. They told us that they saw the love of Jesus in us & His humility, and they KNEW beyond a doubt that the Gospel we taught from God’s word was true, because our actions showed love. Praise God for that!! If it wasnt for HIS LOVE, we couldnt show love. We love Him because He first loved us!
On Saturday, we went to preach at the prison. Over 300 prisoners came to listen to us share the Good New. Julian, James & i preached a message. God worked powerfully that day through His Word & over 60 inmates came forward and stood up to accept Jesus as their Lord & Savior!!! The warden said he had never seen so much love, peace & joy in that prison facility before, in all of the years he had worked there!!! Praise God!!!! Many of those prisoners got Bibles in their native language (Chi CHewa). Please pray that these prisoners will be discipled & mentored & stay strong in their walk with God & rest in His love & grace. I am so glad that i live for a God who is loving &merciful & forgiving! Romans says that for all have sinned & fallen short of the glory of God! Even if you have never been in prison before, you have broken the law & committed an offense against God, deserving punishment.Romans also says that the wages of sin is death. We all deserve death, but thanks to Jesus, He took OUR place on the Cross, a criminal’s death, when He knew no sin Himself. That is the greatest act of LOVE.For Him to die for His enemies, so that we could be justified in God’s eyes & not pay Eternally for our own sins. I cant thank you enough Jesus!
WHOEVER THE SON SETS FREE……IS FREE INDEED!!!!!
AMEN!!!! Thank you Jesus for willingly giving up your life, because you loved us so much. And that you didnt stay dead, but raised bodily from the grave 3 days later, defeating sin & death, and proving once again that you are God! So that whoever believes in you can also defeat sin & death!
Ive seen so many miracles this month. The power of the name of Jesus. After seeing those miracles, theres no way anyone can say that Jesus was just a man or just a prophet. He was and is the Son of God. He is in the Father & the Father is in Him. Only the name of Jesus can raise the dead, heal the sick & do the miracles ive seen Him do, in just the last few weeks!
Bye for now…just wanted to share awesome things God is doing! Thanks for your encouragement, prayers & support! By the way, we will be serving in Malawi again for the month of December, but in a different part of Malawi, with a different ministry partner! Im excited to spend another month in beautiful Malawi! God bless you all! May His grace, love, peace & joy be with you all!! Love His Servant, Michelle
