So, I blog about every two month…it seems.
I just wanted to send a quick update…on what’s been going on…
So here goes…
I’m going to be back in Philadelphia for at least the Summer. I am looking forward to many coffee dates with people in this great city!
At the end of July I will be attending The Dougy Center’s Summer Institute. The Dougy Center is the National Center for Grieving Children and Families located in Portland, Oregon. This Institute will better equip me with the skills and knowledge to start a program in the future.
There’s been a lot stirring in my heart and I have a lot of crazy ideas, so if you would like to hear more about what’s next…let me know. I’d love to share more with you over coffee, a cocktail, ice cream, the phone or even skype. : )
I have some goals and some plans in the works for the rest of 2011…but as we all know God’s plans are BIGGER. So we see how it all unfolds.

For Children & Families who are Grieving. Just yesterday, I was working with a little girl whose mother had died two weeks ago. Her hair was in two messy pigtails. And, I thought to myself “her dad is learning how to do pigtails.” Pray that children, parents, and anyone who grieves may truly feel comforted as they navigate through their new reality.
Determination & Patience. This is something that has broken my heart here in America and around the World. Pray that I can stay faithful to this dream. Lately, my thoughts have been very positive and excited to see how God makes it all happen. So, that is HUGE!
Partnerships. A few weeks ago at church a missionary who started a women and children’s hospital in Mali spoke about his journey. He said this…and it resonated with me…”If God has given you a dream…go after it…because you ONLY know what He is saying to you. What you don’t know is what He is saying to OTHER people. Then it comes together and it happens.”
