So sorry about the last blog. I got as far as the first word of the title and got distracted and it posted. Oops. So, the race has been hard since my last blog. The SWAT team has been hit hard with sickness. Due to that the team has been split for over two weeks now. First, Liz and I took a flight out of Busia to Kijabi to get better medical care. We were there for one week then joined David and Catherine in Nairobi while Jordan, Charlotte and Monica are in Tanzania. Catherine and Liz have been very sick this last week. Catherine is slowly recovering and gaining her strength. On the other hand, Liz has been fighting some stomach bug for over a month and has been to 3 different hospitals and they can’t seem to find an answer to what is causing her pain. Last night she flew to California to recover and hopefully join us at the end of August in Ireland. The rest of us plan on heading to Tanzania on Sunday to join the rest of the team.

Pray specifically for healing for Liz.
Also, Liz is still in need of support for the race and this trip to America is going to be rather costly.
Also, David and Catherine are also in need of support. They have to raise around $30,000 for the race.

Being away from my whole team this month has made me realize how much I have missed them and how much I love them. We are truly a family and God has blessed me with a team that I adore. So, please join me in prayer for their health and their financial support for the remainder of the race.
