Today, my teammate David and I were out working on the census. After about 3 hours in the hot sun, winding around small shacks, we came accross a little girl walking home from school. As soon as I saw her…I knew there was something special about this girl. David also knew…he took her picture. It was almost as if the world stopped for the next few minutes – she had our undivided attention. Meet seven year old Roxanne. She was walking home from school. Roxanne only has one leg. She has some type of adaptation that helps her walk. I asked Roxanne if she needed help getting home. She said yes. David then picked her up and started asked her how old she was. We walked Roxanne through the village to her home which was about five minutes away. As we arrived to the house no one was there to greet and welcome Roxanne home. She was by herself. But, she is NEVER alone.

Please pray for Roxanne and guidance for us to know how to help her.
