So, I know it has been forever since I’ve blogged. Things have been a little crazy. Here is a snapshot of my Life in Uganda…
1.) I milked a cow for the first time.
2.) I celebrated my 28th Birthday – got chocolate, Redeeming Love, and a sweet mug from my team. We played every game under the sun while it thunder stormed.
3.) I’m living in a mud hut with no electricity.
4.) One day I came home to find an egg had been laid on my backpack which was in my bedroom. Crazy chicken.
5. ) Woke up to a house fire. We’re all fine.
6.) I have typhoid and being treated from malaria – why not.
7.) The town we are in has 4 waterfalls. The most beautiful city in all of Uganda!
8.) Team changes occurred at the beginning of the month. Jordan was moved to another team (we miss him so much) but we gained two awesome girls. Lyndsie Neie and Caley Peterson – check out their blogs!
9.) One of our vans did a 180 degree spin on the mud road in the rain. That was fun.
10.) IRELAND is just around the corner! 10 days til I go GREEN!
Love you all so much! Thanks for your love!
