Hello Everyone –
My last blog was in June…and what a journey it has been so far…
I came back to Philadelphia in July with two suitcases and only Summer clothes (thinking I would only be here for…well …the Summer).
Allow me to catch you up on the dream of having a grieving children’s program…
– God provided the money for me to attend The Dougy Center’s New Program Development Training in Portland, Oregon in July
– I met with the pastors at my church and shared what God was stirring in my heart
So here I am less than 4 months later…God has…
– Provided a free place for the grieving children’s program (Hope Community Church located in King of Prussia, PA)
– God has given me a name for the program – C2H2 – Compassion, Comfort, Healing & Hope – see 2 Corinthians 1:3-10
– He has brought people who believe in it and want to see it happen
– There is a LIVE website… www.c2h2place.org
-God is weaving my life and this dream into something beautiful
– God continually is asking me to walk forward and take risks…everytime I have that internal battle…of…”I can’t do this…” He shows me that He is Trustworthy…ALWAYS…
– He has given me verses like…”The One who calls you is faithful and He will do it.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:24
– Our first program is set for November 15th for any child or teen who is 6-17 years old who has experienced a loss of a parent, sibling, grandparent, relative or friend.
