Let me fill you in on the last two weeks of my life in Kenya…

On Wednesday, June 16th I woke up not feeling well and just thought I was in need of a day of rest. Caitlin, team leader of Radiance told me to just take the day and rest. So, I did. As the day went on I started having weird symptoms such as extreme lower back pain and a headache. As I laid around all day…I was praying that if God wanted me to go to the hospital that the pain would not subside. It didn’t – so I walked to the local clinic and did a blood test and tested positive for Malaria. Yep – it’s true. I am very thankful though because it was a mild case – I was only down and out for 5 days.
What did I learn? Well one night I literally felt like my head was going to explode. There was no one around. I layed there under the mosquito net and I cried. I was crying out to HIM. No one on this earth could do anything for me. I needed HIM.

Please continue to pray for team SWAT. We want a healthy month in Tanzania!

I have several blogs that are almost ready to be posted…so stay tuned – it’s good stuff!

Love to you all!
